  • 2.2 GHz Multi Core (8 cores or more recommended)
  • RAM: 32 GB recommended
  • Operating System: Windows Server 2012 or higher
  • Microsoft Azure SQL in the cloud; Microsoft SQL Server 2016 or higher on premises
  • Microsoft Internet Information Services
  • riteSCAN can run on any Windows, Android (9 and higher), or iOS device with a browser listed below.

The following devices are recommended for handheld use.

  • Zebra:  MC3300, MC9300, TC21, TC26, TC52, TC8000, and ET40/45
  • Honeywell: CK65 and CK75
  • Datalogic: Skorpio X5, Memor 11, and Memor 30-35

If you don't see your device listed, contact us for more information. riteSCAN may be compatible with your device, but not yet certified. Microsoft has sunset the Windows Embedded Handheld and CE operating systems. riteSCAN 8 does not support devices running these legacy Windows operating systems (e.g., MC9090, MC9190).

No. riteSCAN 8 is a premise-based solution that runs locally via a web browser. (Note: riteSCAN can be hosted in the cloud in a Cloud Server environment.)

Yes, riteSCAN 8 will run on an iOS device with a browser.

riteSOFT offers both on-line or on-site installation, training, and support services for both technology beginners and technology experts. Many customers purchase the on-line option because riteSCAN is so simple to implement.

riteSCAN can run in a variety of Windows and Android environments—including computer workstations, tablets, touch screens, and hand-held mobile devices that meet our system requirements. Our latest version, riteSCAN 8, can generally run on any hand-held device with a browser. riteSCAN is certified for compatibility with Zebra MC3300, MC9300, TC52, and TC8000 hand-held devices. If you have other hand-held devices, they may be compatible but not yet certified.

Our latest version, riteSCAN 8, is compatible with SYSPRO version 7.0 and 8.0. (Note: riteSCAN 6 is compatible with SYSPRO versions 6.0 Issue 10, 6.1, 7.0 and 8.0.)

riteSCAN captures everything from inventory transfers and queries to purchase order receipts, sales order picking, issuing materials to jobs, and pallet tracking—and updates it in SYSPRO in real time using embedded SYSPRO e.Net business objects to ensure tight, seamless integration and ongoing system compatibility.  Since riteSCAN leverages the SYSPRO business objects, the logic, rules, and permissions you set up in SYSPRO get carried over into riteSCAN for consistency—and SYSPRO remains the system of record.

Typically, customers set up WIFI access points throughout their warehouse to run riteSCAN.
